I think this could help with immersion, do it like dark souls and put lore in item descriptions along with some stats describing the item.

EG: Madrugar: The Heavy Attack Vehicle (HAV) serves as an anchoring unit for many planetary engagements, fulfilling its role as a long-range and heavily armored unit. Equipped with thick and resilient armor plating and high-capacity shielding systems, it is a tenacious defensive vehicle, able to withstand persistent onslaughts from entrenched enemies.
"Gallente military doctrine places a premium on human life, favoring technological solutions that augment or even entirely replace human combatants in a conflict as part of an on-going effort to minimize loss of life on the battlefield. To this end, Gallente forces have access to some of the most advanced armor systems in the cluster."

Bumping with more fake item lore.
Rail Rifle: The Caldari Rail Rifle is a mid-to-long range weapon with a high accuracy and low rate of fire. It requires a small pre-fire charge before it can be fired. Due to the very high accuracy and long effective range, the Rail Rifle excels at these distances, however, it tends to suffer at close range due to its low rate of fire and charge time. It is fitted with a high zoom fidelity holographic sight.
"Caldari society is steeped in military tradition. As a people, its members had to fight a long and bloody war to gain their independence, and even had to surrender their home planet to their hated enemies, the Gallenteans. It was at this time that the corporations established themselves as the driving force behind creating and maintaining the new Caldari State. Even if the Caldari have not engaged in war for many decades, they still strive to be at the cutting edge of military technology and their vessels, weapons and fighting methods are inferior to none but the enigmatic Jovians."

Boundless Combat Rifle: A gas-operated, short-barreled weapon, the combat rifle is a semi-automatic weapon well-suited to both short and medium range combat. Classified as a light support weapon, it is typically employed in target-rich environments: The high volume of fire produced enables operators to engage multiple targets in rapid succession, while the weaponGÇÖs extended range keeps the operator just beyond the threat threshold of most standard assault rifles.
"Boundless Creation was established as a symbol of hope, a nationalist beacon in the darkest days of a fledgling Republic. Its shining light, a research facility to rival even the best the Federation had to offer, was to be an incubator for Minmatar talent, a place where scientists would have the tools and the support to compete on a cluster-wide scale."

Viziam Scrambler Rifle: The Scrambler Rifle is a selective-fire weapon capable of semi-automatic and charged fire. Each shot produces a pulse of sinuous energy capable of penetrating shield and metal. By keeping pressure on the trigger, the operator can control the power of each discharge, scaling it to produce an intense pulse of energy fatal to soft targets. The added power output does come with downsides, most notably increased heat build-up; left unmanaged, thermal stresses age the focusing crystal prematurely, resulting in splintering and potentially lethal feedback. Despite this and several other issues - increased heft, poor reliability, and high manufacturing cost - the scrambler rifle is widely available and in service on battlefields cluster-wide.
Viziam is only a few years old, having been founded around the remnants of a hi-tech company that floundered. Viziam received support from the Carthum Conglomerate and has quickly risen to prominence in the industrial sector of the Amarr Empire.

Krixus Flux wrote:Brosef, you can read that in the description when you select your loadout. The better deal would be tips and hints.
You can read the item's description but not the lore behind the faction or corporation that manufactured it.
